Graduate studies in Germany
As in most cases, Master’s programmes have their own fees fixed by an individual university. This may range from 650 Euros to several thousand per semester. Regardless of this amount, each student has to pay a certain amount to the university per semester as a contribution towards the university. This is different from the tuition fees and once again varies from university to university.
This is channelized towards administration costs as well as social contribution towards ASTA and Student wellbeing. Several universities also divert this money towards financing tickets so that students can use public transport facilities throughout the semester.
